Sadhan Pandey questions rush to finish flyover

A day after a part of the Vivekananda flyover collapsed on Thursday, Trinamool MP from Kolkata North Bandopadhyay had admitted that the government was alerted about its faulty design. Pandey on Wednesday said the flyover was being constructed hurriedly: "It is now clear that the bolts came loose during concrete work. It shouldn't have been so. Ideally, the concreting should have been delayed till the bolts were either repaired or replaced. To save a days' wages to the labourers, the construction company put their lives, and that of others, at risk. Why the hurry?
