After Shani Shingnapur, more shrines open doors to women

The Shani Shingnapur Temple Trust's decision to open doors to women has had a cascading effect with others following in their footsteps. The gram sabha of Veer village in Purandar, which is famous for its Mhaskoba temple, has decided to allow entry to all in the inner sanctum. Similarly, residents of Kodi in Pune district have also decided to allow women in the sanctum of Shreenath Mhaskoba temple.
