Head of Indiana teachers union moving on to Alabama post

The Indiana State Teachers Association said Monday that Executive Director Brenda Pike will end her six-year stint with the organization to take on the same title at the Alabama Education Association.

ISTA says the union has seen financial gains and a membership increase to more than 40,000 people under Pike's leadership.
