State law that served as model for 'Obamacare' turns 10

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts is marking the tenth anniversary of a landmark health care law that would later serve as a model for the federal Affordable Care Act.

State officials say the law that included subsidies for low-income residents to purchase insurance has led to near-universal coverage in Massachusetts.
