Police arrest man in hanging, sexual assault of dog

A mountain biker discovered a 3-year-old pit bull named Diamond hanging from a tree on Department of Natural Resources land on March 21.

Thurston County animal control officer Erika Johnson says more evidence is needed to determine whether the county will pursue a bestiality charge.
