CW reviving 'MADtv' as primetime series

"MADtv" is returning to television as a prime-time series. 

The CW announced Monday that it has ordered eight one-hour episodes of the sketch comedy series that will "star up-and-coming new comedy voices" as well as appearances by returning cast members.
