Blast in southern Lebanon kills local Palestinian official

BEIRUT (AP) — Lebanese security officials say an explosion in the southern city of Sidon has killed a local Palestinian official.

The explosion occurred near the Palestinian refugee camp of Ein el-Hilweh, where Fatah gunmen have recently clashed with Islamic extremists.
