Fayose’s SSG speaks on resigning from Ekiti government

Dr. Modupe Alade, the Secretary to the Ekiti state Government has dismissed reports on social media that she has resigned from Ayo Fayose government.
Speaking in Ekiti, the SSG said it was regrettable that people misinterpreted her leave for outright resignation, adding that she remained a staunch loyalist of the governor.

“I will return to my duty post at the expiration of my leave,” Alade said.
Recall that a few weeks ago, commissioner for Works, Kayode Oso, resigned from the cabinet ‘on health grounds’.
Alade said she was on a two-week leave, commencing from Monday, April 11 adding that she remained a staunch loyalist of the governor.
She said it was regrettable that people misinterpreted her leave for outright resignation.
