How top comedians, musicians thrilled fans in Lagos recently (Photos)
– Nigerian comedian MC Abbey stages comedy show at Shell Hall, Muson Centre, Lagos to the delight of many fans and entertainers
– Ali Baba, Basket Mouth, Korede Bello, AY and former first lady of Lagos state attend in support of the event
– The show held on Sunday, April 10 and was an evening of superb comedy blended with music performances
On Sunday, April 10 2016, the second edition of comedian MC Abbey’s #ILaffWithMCAbbey held at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre, Lagos.
The event was well attended by many from fellow comedians to music stars and socialites.
Korede Bello, Koker, Humble Smith, Toby Grey as well as other star musicians were on ground to entertain guests.
Other celebrities present include comedians Basketmouth, Gordons, Ali Baba, Seyi Law, AY, Lepacious Bose and Tee A.

The show was produced by Steve ‘Yaw’ Onu. It kicked off at 5pm with a green carpet hosted by the talented duo of Denrele & Ariyike.
Music was provided by DJ Alex, in addition there were several exciting warm up performances from upcoming talents in Lagos.
The show kicked off proper when comedian Seyi Law got on stage and launched into performances of his hilarious jokes.
After his performance, he introduced several comedians and musicians on stage. Following this, entertainers like Young MC, Odogwu, Laugh Doctor, Toby Grey and MVP took to the stage and performed to the delight of the audience.
The highlight on the night was the part where a visibly excited MC Abbey made his grand entrance on stage after a wild introduction by veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle.
Guests cheered as soon as they caught sight of the comedian who got on stage and engaged the crowd in a hilarious 20-minute display.
Following this, comedians MC Abbey, Tee A, Lepacious Bose, Basket Mouth and media personality IK Osakioduwa shared their funniest experiences ever, which also thrilled guests present.
Nikki Laoye then stepped out for a performance of her breakthrough hit 123, which was well received by the crowd. Immediately after came Splash, De-Don, Gordons and Forever for back to back performances.
Korede Bello was the next to perform and the Mavin Records artist delighted guests with hit songs such as Somebody Great, Mungo Park, Godwin and Romantic amongst others.
Korede bowed out for Humble Smith to wrap up the night with an energetic 4- minute set of his major hit Osinachi.
Guests present at the event include former first lady of Lagos state Dame Abimbola Fashola, veteran gospel musician Sammie Okposo, The director of Heritage Bank Mary Akpobome, Comedy icon Alibaba, AY, Gbenga Adeyinka, Oscar and Titi Oyinsan and several others.
