There seems to be too much to bear for the Amaju Pinnick-led Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board as the lawyers of Sunday Oliseh’s assistant with the Super Eagles, Jean Francois Loscuito, have issued the football body a 24-hour deadline to pay their client the remainder of his contract sum.

Loscuito worked with Sunday Oliseh in handling the Super Eagles for about eight months before the latter resigned in February.
According to AfricanFootball, the Belgian’s lawyers gave the NFF until midnight Tuesday, April 12, to pay Jean Francois Lusciuto, or the matter will be taken before Fifa, adding that as the NFF has breached his contract.
“He’s very confident he will get justice and he will get what is due him,” a source close to him told AfricanFootball.
Meanwhile, the world’s football governing body Fifa has responded to the tussle for leadership within the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

In a letter sent to the recognised president, Amaju Pinnick, Fifa, today April 11, reminded the NFF president that according to articles 13 and 17 of the Fifa Statutes, all members associations have to manage their affairs independently and with no influence from third parties.
In addition and according to article 68 of the FIFA Statutes, recourse to ordinary courts of law is prohibited unless specifically provided for in the FIFA regulations.
