Oakland Ballet presents ‘A Cappella — Our Bodies Sing’

Dance and vocal music harmonize in Oakland Ballet’s ambitious spring program, “A Cappella — Our Bodies Sing,” featuring collaborations between local choreographers and choral ensembles.

Stephen Foster inspired choreographer Val Caniparoli, who teams up with the Berkeley Community Chamber Singers.

Modern dance powerhouses Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton collaborate with Vajra Voices and Oakland Ballet Artistic Director Graham Lustig’s “Stone of Hope,” set to new arrangements of spirituals.
