Popular Nigerian actress Mide Funmi Martins has disclosed that she cannot run a joint account with her husband despite working in the same industry,

Mide who is the daughter of the late star actress, Funmi Martins is married to producer cum actor, Afeez Abiodun popularly known as Afeez Owo.

In an interview she granted Kemi Ashefon love haven, on why she would never have a joint account with her husband, Afeez Abiodun but she can assist him financially if the need arise.

Mide explained her reason: “Money is powerful and if you are not careful, it can separate two persons. Money is so powerful that you realise you are quarrelling with those you claim to love because of it. In my own opinion, I think it’s better we operate our different accounts but that does not mean if he needs my help, I won’t give it to him or he won’t be there for me when the need arises.”

Mide and Afeez have been married for 13 years and they have two daughters together.
