Movie association chief advocates diversity at CinemaCon

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The head of the Motion Picture Association of America says the film community must do a better job of reflecting the diverse makeup of the world, and it's taking steps to do so.

While Dodd didn't directly address theatrical competitors such as streaming services, he stressed that theaters remain the "premier way to experience the magic of the movies."
