Paytm targets August launch of payments bank

Paytm, which has received a payments bank licence, is targeting an August launch with 20 million account holders. The bank will be a new entity, majority (51%) held by promoter Vijay Shekhar Sharma with the remaining shares split between the existing wallet company (39%) and another group firm (10%).
