BJP sees Congress conspiracy in caste census, JD(S) to wait and watch

The leaked figures of the Social and Economic Census has left several of the state's key leaders wondering over the veracity of the census carried out in Karnataka. While the BJP suspects foul play in the census, alleging an attempt to inflate figures of the overall backward classes in the state to assist the Congress in the 2018 elections, the JD(S) is playing a wait-and-watch game.
