Mylapore now on metro rail map, officials conduct feasibility survey

Mylapore, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Chennai has come under the radar of the latest in transport-- metro rail. While preliminary work on the 88km second phase project of Chennai Metro Rail is underway, a team of experts visited Mylapore on Tuesday to conduct a feasibilitystudyfor an extension of the phase.
