NEW YORK (AP) — "The Jungle Book" ruled the box office with $103.3 million in its debut weekend, the latest Walt Disney Co. live action adaptation of one of the studio's cartoon classics to score big with moviegoers.
The larger-than-expected debut succeeded by drawing a wide audience to the well-reviewed PG-rated film.
Only five PG-rated films have had larger openings.
