|||Johannesburg - Datacentrix says it boosted revenue 16 percent in the year to end February and also grew its bottom line 19 percent.

Datacentrix released its results before the market opened, but its shares are trading at R5.25.
Headline earnings per share – a key measure of performance as this figure strips out non core gains – grew 18.5 percent to 62.8c.
CEO Ahmed Mahomed says the company “achieved double-digit growth despite tough economic conditions, an achievement we believe can be directly attributed to Datacentrix’ unique positioning within the current marketplace”.
Good growth was achieved within the datacentre, storage, security, networking, outsourcing, human capital supplementation and enterprise information management areas.
As a Pinnacle Holdings Group company, Datacentrix now has further access to an extended solution set, the group notes.
Mahomed adds, during the year in review, the group continued to secure revenue in Africa, largely by following customers into the region. “We are however cognisant of the challenges in trading in Africa and have centred our strategy on following existing customers into the continent.”
Datacentrix will continue to expand both organically and through acquisitions, and will seek out suitable acquisitions to broaden its reach and to bring new solutions to market.
