– Enyimba chairman Felix Anyansi-Agwu warns his team not to relax despite a 3-0 first leg win
Nigerian Champion Enyimba FC will be looking to maintain a comfortable lead from the first leg, ahead of a strange midweek CAF Champions League fixture against Etoile Du Sahel in Tunis.
Despite a convincing 3-0 CAF Champions League first leg victory against Etoile Sportive du Sahel in Port Harcourt a fortnight ago, Enyimba chairman Felix Anyansi-Agwu believes much work still has to be done to pick the lucrative group stage ticket.
He said: “We are happy that we won the first leg but the job is not done yet. We still have 90 minutes to battle out in Sousse (Tunisia) for the ticket. We are not celebrating just yet until we return from Tunisia.
“Football is very unpredictable so we are going to approach the second leg as if it is a final. Who says we can’t concede three goals if we fail to prepare adequate ly. We are going to work round them and be one of the teams in the group stage of the competition.”
Following the pedigree of this game, heavy security has been reported at Enyimba’s hotel Habib base in Monastir, Tunisia.

The reigning Nigeria champions took a giant leap towards appearing at the lucrative group stage of the competition for the first time since 2011 thanks to a hat-trick from on-form forward Mfon Udoh.
Enyimba, champions in 2003 and 2004, are the only surviving Nigerian side in the continental club championship.
