Crawford beats out Iguodala for Sixth Man award

0

The Warriors got the day off from practice on Tuesday, while guard Stephen Curry underwent an MRI on his injured right ankle.

Curry missed the Warriors’ 115-106 win over the Houston Rockets on Monday night, after he tested the injury in pregame warmups and decided he wasn’t ready to go.

Warriors forward Andre Iguodala gave Jamal Crawford a run for his money but couldn’t stop the Clippers guard from becoming the first player to win the NBA's Sixth Man Award for a third time.

Iguodala averaged 7.0 points, 3.4 assists and 4.0 rebounds off the bench for the Warriors, and also often covered opposing teams’ best scorer.

Crawford was the Clippers' third-leading scorer at 15.6 points per game in the 45 games that Blake Griffin missed.
