At night, Lagos becomes Paris – (photos)
Lagos is wearing a new look and its thanks to the Lagos light-up project which was initiated by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Paris has been dubbed the city of light but it seems Lagos is catching up to that name with the on-going light-up project which is turning the city into a beauty at night.
When Governor Ambode announced the initiative, it was one of the measures to tackle the rise of crime in the city. Security vehicles and gadgets were donated to the police while the light-up project was expected to deter criminals with lighting up of the nooks and crannies of the city.

Apart from the security benefit of the project, the beauty it brings to the city is also overwhelming. Commuters and drivers can move the length of the city with ease with good visibility.
Lagos is beautiful and the work is still on.
