Traffic moving again on highway linking Phoenix-Las Vegas
WIKIEUP, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say southbound traffic on U.S. 93 in northwest Arizona is now getting around a crash site that caused a closure partial Friday morning but that motorists should still expect delays.
U.S. 93 is the main route between Phoenix and Las Vegas.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the closure was about 40 miles south of Wikieup (WHIH'-kee-up).
The department says northbound lanes remain open in the area.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the one-vehicle accident involved a tractor-trailer rig that overturned, blocking the southbound lanes. There was one minor injury.
