Lawsuit: UW adviser hid link to crash from victim's daughter

(AP) — The daughter of a jogger killed in a drunken crash has filed a lawsuit against a university adviser who had been texting with the driver.

According to the lawsuit, Richardson offered to counsel Mengelt without telling her that he was texting with Burnside and used the counseling relationship to glean information.
