Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Moscow in a fresh effort to revive the stalled Middle East peace process, while President Obama called President Putin to discuss the Syrian peace talks which look to be on the brink of collapse.
