College scholarship program receives $275,000 in donations

The Kalamazoo Gazette and WXMI-TV report that $250,000 was donated anonymously to the Kalamazoo Promise free-tuition program for 10 students seeking teaching degrees at Western Michigan University.

The money is in addition to tuition provided by the program and will cover room and board, books, transportation and other costs.
