NY AG seeks info on officer's fatal shooting of driver

NEW YORK (AP) — The state attorney general has requested information from local authorities about a police officer's fatal shooting last week of a driver who had trapped him between his car and a police vehicle.

The attorney general is authorized to investigate police shootings when either the person killed is unarmed or there are questions about the threat they posed.
