Hotel Project Would Revive Embodiment of Jet Age at Kennedy Airport

The Trans World Flight Center at Kennedy International Airport opened in 1962 and has stood largely empty since closing in 2001. A $265 million plan would revive the building as a public entrance to a 505-room hotel.
