UofL maintains accreditation but placed on 1-year probation

(AP) — The University of Louisville says it has maintained its accreditation but will be placed on one-year probation amid turmoil in its governance.

The university says the probation stems from the organization's requirements dealing with board of trustee membership, standards related to selection and evaluation of the university president and external influence.
