Officials: Gun, booze found in student's car at high school

(AP) — School district officials say a gun and alcohol was found inside a student's vehicle parked at a Boxford high school.

The Salem News reports (http://bit.ly/2gz5K0R ) Masconomet Regional School District superintendent Kevin Lyons states in an email Monday that staff were looking for alcohol in the car last week.

A school resource officer secured it and Boxford police later took possession of it.
