Arpaio loses bid to put racial profiling case on hold

Arpaio's attorneys argued that Snow shouldn't preside over the case anymore because he had improper private conversations with an official hired to monitor the agency on behalf of the court.

Snow says Arpaio has long been aware of the judge's communications with the monitor about a court-ordered overhaul of the agency.
