Margaret Whitton, star of 'Major League,' dies at 67

NEW YORK (AP) — Margaret Whitton, who starred as a former showgirl who became owner of the Cleveland Indians in the 1989 comedy "Major League," has died.

In addition to playing the sultry Rachel Phelps in "Major League" and its 1994 sequel, she also starred in several television series.
