No. 14 Miami women beat winless Loyola of Chicago 81-43
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Nigia Greene scored 14 points and Laura Cornelius added 13 to lead four players in double figures, and No. 14 Miami beat Loyola of Chicago 81-43 on Tuesday.
Senior guard Adrienne Motley, who entered the game with 1,497 points in her Miami career, scored 12 to become the ninth player in program history to reach 1,500. Erykah Davenport finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Hurricanes (8-1) shot 33 of 71 and hit 10 of 31 from beyond the arc, taking charge with a dominant third quarter.
