An appeals court ruling saying Samsung had to pay a $399-million penalty to its American rival for copying key iPhone designs was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday, Reuters reported. In an 8-0 ruling, the justices sent the case back to the lower court for further proceedings, the report said.
