Allstate selects John Dugenske as chief investment officer

Allstate Corp. said Tuesday that John Dugenske will join the company as chief investment officer in early 2017, overseeing its $81 billion investment portfolio. He was most recently the global head of fixed income at UBS Global Asset Management. Dugenske succeeds Judith Greffin, who announced her retirement in March 2016, a job she held since 2008. Allstate shares are up 14% for the year so far while the S&P 500 index is up 8.1% for the same period.
