Cocoa plantation is the new craze among farmers in district

Cocoa seems to have caught the imagination of farmers in Coimbatore district. There has been a sudden spurt in cocoa plantation of late, taking the acreage of the beans cultivated in the district from 27 hectares in 2015 to 866 hectares this year.
