UW’s Kelsey Plum passes Chiney Ogwumike as Pac-12’s top scorer
Kelsey Plum matched her season-high with 44 points and became the Pac-12’s career scoring leader in No. 11 Washington’s 92-66 win over Boise State on Sunday in Seattle.
Plum, the national scoring leader, shot 15 of 26 from the field and had nine rebounds.
Rachel Nagel’s floating jumper against tight defense beat the buzzer and the host Aggies (6-2) survived the Gaels (4-5), who were led by Carly Turner’s 18 points.
Marie Bertholdt scored a season-high 18 points with five rebounds and a career-high five blocks for the host Broncos (4-3).
Katie Lou Samuelson scored 26 points, hitting six three-pointers, and Napheesa Collier added 22 for the visiting Huskies (9-0), who ran their winning streak to 84 games, six shy of their 90-game stretch from 2008-10.
Kaela Davis scored 22 points, Allisha Gray had 18 and the host Gamecocks (7-1) finished with 16 three-pointers, the most in coach Dawn Staley’s nine seasons as coach.
Monique Billings (19 points, 16 rebounds) and Jordin Canada (16 points, 14 assists) each had double-doubles for the Bruins (7-1), who extended their home winning streak to 18.
Justin Jackson scored the go-ahead basket with 2:14 left to help the host Tar Heels (10-1) rally from 15 down.
Tyler Dorsey scored 19 points and Dylan Ennis hit the tiebreaking three-pointer as the shot clock expired for the Ducks (8-2), who won their sixth consecutive game and 31st in a row at home.
