Blocked shot saves Saint Louis’ 45-43 win over Chicago State
ST. LOUIS — Zeke Moore blocked Trayvon Palmer’s 3-point attempt in the closing seconds and Saint Louis held on for a 45-43 win over Chicago State on Sunday.
After taking a 45-39 lead on Elliott Welmer’s layup with 4:15 to play, the Billikens missed four shots and had five turnovers. Fred Sims Jr. had jumper at 3:53 for the Cougars and Palmer made a layup at 38 seconds to make it a one-possession game.
