Holiday road hell looms with major works planned for Tullamarine Freeway and West Gate Freeway

Melburnians can expect long delays heading out of the city on Boxing Day, with maintenance works on the West Gate Bridge set to close lanes, as part of citywide disruption all summer on the roads and public transport network.
