Nigeria will still experience gross darkness – Oyedepo

The General Overseer, Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that Nigeria and indeed the world would still experience gross darkness in time and called for special prayers to overcome the difficulties.

Oyedepo, who was quoted in a live streaming broadcast, at Canaan Land in Ota, Ogun state, during the annual Winners Chapel prayer convention, Shiloh 2016, tagged “My Case is Different’’, taken from Genesis Chapter 47 Verses 15 to 27.

He described the economic downturn in the country as a holocaust.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the man of God also encouraged Christians in the aspect of giving, adding that anyone who keys into kingdom investment covenant would overcome hardship.

He said: “Anyone who keys into the kingdom investments covenant will overcome the gross darkness that awaits the world.

“As Christians, you should understand and have the spirit of giving no matter what it takes to give.’’

Recall that when Shiloh 2016 started, Oyedepo, had said that Nigerians will experience harsher economic challenges.

The bishop enjoined everyone to draw closer to God in order to survive the forthcoming tough economic climate.
