Another corps member collapses in Osun state during Ooni's visit
- The Ooni of Ife paid a visit to corps members at the orientation camp in Ede, Osun state
- While he was addressing the corps members, one of them slumped and was rushed to the hospital

Another corps member reportedly slumped on Monday, December 12, at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Ede, Osun state, during the visit of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
The female corps member was said to have slumped while the Ooni was addressing the youths on Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneur Development, The Punch reports.
She was rushed to the clinic where she was promptly treated.
One of the corps members who stood next to the corps member that collapsed said it must have been due to exhaustion.

An NYSC official disclosed that the sick corps member left the clinic after treatment. A Red Cross member added that the lady had been treated and discharged.
During his speech, the Ooni mourned the three corps members who passed away at various camps in three states recently.
He called on corps members to be their brothers’ keepers by relating well with one another while also praying for the bereaved families.
Speaking on entrepreneur development, he told the corps members that he made up his mind to be an entrepreneur and was selling rice and sugar.
He urged them to be zealous in whatever they are doing.
“I met Aliko Dangote and Dr. Deji Adeleke and other successful people right inside the market where I was selling foodstuff. I used my background to redefine the way I was selling the stuff,” he said.

The Ooni advised the corps members to join hands to work together for the development of Nigeria instead of being disappointed in the country and its leadership.
The Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, was also present.
Three serving corps members died during the ongoing 2016 Batch ‘B’ (Stream I) orientation camp in Bayelsa, Kano and Zamfara states.
They are Ifedolapo Oladepo, an indigene of Ila Orangun in Osun state who died in Kano, Chinyerum Nwenenda Elechi, and Monday Asuquo Ukeme.
The NYSC has set up a high-powered committee to investigate the causes of the deaths.
