Lawyers led to tough stand against them: Chief Justice
When nothing works, bitter medicine is required. So saying, chief justice of Madras high court Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul made it clear that the recent tough decisions concerning conduct of advocates of late were necessitated by situations created by advocates themselves. Showcause notices, eviction orders, contempt proceedings and criminal cases have all been initiated against members of small groups of advocates creating ruckus on court campus in the recent past.
