Nissan Motor India on Thursday said its total wholesales rose by 22 per cent on a YoY (year-on-year) basis to 6,746 units last month, which were boosted thanks to an increase in the company’s exports. The automaker had dispatched 5,605 units in November 2021. Exports increased to 4,346 units last month, from 2,954 units in the year-ago period.

Nissan Motor India’s best-selling product – the Magnite, since its launch in December 2020, has sold 63,356 units till the end of October 2022 comprising 9,569 units in FY2021, 33,905 units in FY2022 out of which 19,882 units have been clocked in the first eight months of FY2022 itself.

The Magnite is currently available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 5.97 lakh. In July 2022, in an effort to swell up the demand, Nissan launched the Magnite Red Edition at Rs 7.86 lakh (ex-showroom) as the company saw a dip in domestic sales with 2,400 units last month, as against 2,651 units in November 2021.

Official Statement

The brand said that the success of Magnite has been attributed to its strong sales performance, with a combination of great features, attractive pricing, and a renewed commitment to customer-centricity.
