Killebrew signed to two-year contract

The Steelers signed safety Miles Killebrew to a two-year contract.

Killebrew is coming off his best season, earning first-team Associated Press All-Pro honors and his first Pro Bowl Games selection as a special teamer. He also was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-NFL and All-AFC teams.

The Steelers signed free agent wide receiver Van Jefferson to a one-year contract.

At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds Jefferson is a good-sized receiver with deep speed. The 2020 second-round pick of the Rams ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at his pro day at Florida.

That deep speed has shown up in the NFL. Jefferson has averaged 14.2 yards per reception over the course of his four seasons in the NFL

In four seasons in the NFL, Jefferson has appeared in 61 games, starting 35. He has 113 receptions for 1,600 yards, a 14.2-yard average, and 10 touchdowns. He has also carried the ball four times for 23 yards, a 5.8-yard average.
