Matthew Houck, the singer-songwriter known as Phosphorescent, used to listen to Willie Nelson's music from the back seat of his parent's car. He went on to learn guitar and started playing small bars and restaurants. In 2013, he released a breakthrough album, "Muchacho." After a five-year wait, his seventh studio album is now out. "C’est La Vie" was recorded in Nashville and released just last month.
