The drive is fueled in large part by the rise of apps like Grubhub, Seamless and Uber Eats, which take the orders online for the restaurants and deliver the food. Papa John's pizza founder, John Schnatter, is apologizing for his use of a racial slur. Schnatter says while his comments were taken out of context, he understands his words hurt people. He stepped down as chairman of Papa John's board this week after Forbes magazine reported he used the slur during a media training exercise. The Justice Department has indicted 12 Russian military officers for tampering with the 2016 U.S. election. The indictment alleges the Russian agents hacked into the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and the Democratic Party and then released tens of thousands of stolen emails. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced the charges less than 72 hours before Mr. Trump's high-stakes summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
