Woman ordered to begin serving jail sentence in texting suicide case

Michelle Carter, a Massachusetts woman convicted in 2017 of involuntary manslaughter for encouraging her boyfriend to kill himself through text messages, has been ordered to begin serving her 15-month jail sentence. Carter had been out of jail while her appeal was pending, but the state's top court upheld her conviction.
