Violent mass demonstrations that spilled onto the grounds of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad have ended after two days. Iran-backed protesters withdrew from the compound and claimed victory. Flights suspended after plane crash in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, all Bek Air flights are suspended after a plane crash killed at least 12 people. Investigators at the snow-covered crash site say 98 people were aboard the jet when it hit a concrete wall and a two-story building Friday shortly after takeoff. At least 50 people are in the hospital.

Headless torso found in cave identified as 1916 outlaw

The headless torso that was found in a remote Idaho cave 40 years ago has finally been identified as belonging to an outlaw who killed his wife with an ax and was last seen after escaping from jail in 1916. Investigators still don't yet know who killed the outlaw, Joseph Henry Loveless.
