Pennsylvania health secretary discusses COVID-19 vaccine

Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine says a COVID-19 vaccine could be available within the next month, although she noted that when a vaccine does become available it won't be "an immediate cure or end" to the pandemic. "We are in for a very challenging time," she said. "It could take a significant amount of time to immunize everyone in Pennsylvania." Watch her remarks.

12-year-old composes original music for New York Philharmonic

The New York Philharmonic recently performed a world premiere of a piece by a new composer, Grace Moore - a Brooklyn 7th grader who is just 12 years old. Moore composed the piece for the world-renowned symphony orchestra as part of it's Very Young Composers program, which teaches children how to create music. Introducing young, new composers is not the only way the Philharmonic is diversifying this year.

Children's Fund warns of a "lost generation" as more than 570 million students across the globe see their classroom learning impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
