Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, one of the crucial swing votes in the new 51-49 Senate, said he wants to see how the reaction to President Joe Biden's two signature pieces of legislation "plays out." But he tells "Face that Nation" that as of now, he has "no intentions" of changing his party affiliation.

Cuellar calls for Biden to visit border

Rep. Henry Cuellar, whose South Texas district includes more than 300 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border, said on "Face the Nation" that President Joe Biden should visit the border. "A leader has to show images of being up there in the front," Cuellar said.

Gonzales says it's a "dire situation" in El Paso as city preps for Title 42's end\

U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales, whose district neighbors El Paso and includes more than 800 miles of the border, said on "Face the Nation" that what he saw at a migrant center in that city, he had "never seen before." The border region is preparing for an influx of migrants as the pandemic-era policy known as Title 42, which allowed for the expulsion of migrants, is set to come to an end this week.

Reunited: Two refugees, and the stranger who helped them

In 1999 Ayda Zugay was an 11-year-old refugee fleeing the former Yugoslavia with her older sister when a stranger handed them an envelope on a flight to the United States.
