A California state assembly member has proposed a ban on red dye No. 3 and four other food additives in the state based on potential links to cancer and other health concerns. The additives are allowed by the FDA and food manufacturers say they're safe, but they have been banned in Europe for years. CBS News' Danya Bacchus reports.

At least 15,000 service members passed through K2, an American base in Uzbekistan that was used to support classified missions in Afghanistan after 9/11.
